YSK announces official results of elections

AKP has gained 258 seats in the parliament, followed by CHP with 132, and with HDP and MHP with 80 both. The elections witnessed participation by 83,92 percent.

Turkish Supreme Election Board President Sadi Güven has announced the official results of June 7 elections.

Accordingly, the AKP has gained 258 seats in the parliament, followed by CHP with 132, and with HDP and MHP with 80 both. The elections witnessed participation by 83,92 percent.

Results reveal that;

AKP received 18,867,411 votes with a percentage of 40,87

CHP received 11,518,139 votes with a percentage of 24,95

MHP received 7,520,006 votes with a percentage of 16,29

HDP received 6,058,489 votes with a percentage of 13,12

The Saadet Party which remained under the threshold with a rate of 2,31 percent received 932,867 votes.

While a total of 47,507,467 voters went to the polls, including abroad and customs, 1,344,224 votes were deemed invalid.
