The statement said: "The aggression by land by the invading Turkish army and its terrorist groups in the Mare region has been frustrated by our forces and effective action has been organized in the Bab region.

On 2 October one of the invading terrorists was killed withing the frame of the assassination campaign organized by the sniper anti-terrorist team. 

On 4 October a group of invading Turkish army-led terrorists attempted a land attack around the village of Tiwês in the Bab district. Violent clashes erupted and the attempt was foiled. The number of dead or wounded could not be determined.

In addition, between 2 and 5 October, the village of Til Medîq of the Şehba region and the village of Mer’enaz of Şera district were intensely bombed by the invading Turkish army and terrorist groups. The civilians living in the region suffered economic losses during the artillery attack."
