Council of Martyrs’ Families in Raqqa condemns Turkish attacks

The Council of Martyrs’ Families in Raqqa denounced the Turkish attacks against North-East Syria and vowed to enhance their struggle.

The Council of Martyrs’ Families in Raqqa made a statement to the press denouncing the increasingly ongoing Turkish attacks against North-East Syria that claim more lives every day.

The press statement was read out by a member of the Council, Nadiya El Ehmed, who highlighted that the gains won with the blood of thousands of martyrs must be protected and defended.

Nadiya El Ehmed stated that the main goal of the targeted attacks against the people and fighters of North and East Syria was to crush the will of the people in the region, to revive ISIS, to occupy Syria and to continue the conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan, the architect of the democratic nation project.

“As the families of martyrs, we will not allow anyone to lay their hands on the unity and will of the people. We will defend our military forces that protect us, and protect our gains. Most importantly, we will enhance our struggle for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.”
