First oxygen centre to open in Raqqa soon

In a few days, Raqqa will have its first oxygen center.

The Raqqa Civil Council Health Committee, in cooperation with the Northern and Eastern Syria Health Committee, started the construction of the first oxygen center in the city last 14 February.

According to the information given by the Health Committee, the center will be completed in a few days.

Although a date for the opening has not been set, the center will fill an important gap in the health sector.

According to the committee, the centre will produce 80 cubic meters per day. The committee is trying to provide free oxygen for the healthcare industry. Oxygen will be available at a symbolic price for the private sector.

Regarding the working mechanism, Ali Ebduleziz, co-chair of the Raqqa Health Committee, told ANHA that "professional staff will be appointed at the center. Then the test will begin and service will be provided as soon as the test is completed."
