Dozens of members of Tabqa Culture and Art Centre, as well as intellectuals, representatives of the Democratic Civil Administration, the Military Council and members of the Future Syria Party, gathered in front of Tabqa Culture and Art Centre and issued a statement to condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on the region.
The statement pointed out that the targeting of the infrastructure of the region by the occupying Turkish state is a targeting of international justice and human values and a great crime against the peoples.
The statement condemned the silence of the international powers and called on the relevant states to intervene to stop the inhumane crimes against the people in North and East Syria.
Tabqa Canton Civil Council also reacted to the violations of the occupying Turkish state. In a statement read by Tabqa Canton Civil Assembly Co-Chairman Hemûd El Rehîl, it was pointed out that the occupying Turkish state has been trying to cause unrest in the region for 10 years, and in this context, it has been targeting the infrastructure, oil factories and institutions of the region with UCAVs and artillery.
"These attacks show that the occupying Turkish state wants to avenge DAESH (ISIS) and offers the opportunity for it to reorganise itself. Thus, it indicates that they want to destroy the project of our people, which is the real solution and defends the unity of Syrians,” said the statement and called on the United Nations (UN) and relevant legal organisations to fulfil their role against these attacks.
