Anti-Terror Forces affiliated with the Internal Security Forces captured a mercenary during an operation against a cell affiliated with the Damascus government forces in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.
The Northern and Eastern Syria Internal Security Forces Press Center said in a statement that a mercenary was captured during the operation carried out in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, against cell members affiliated with the Damascus government forces.
The statement said: "Our forces continue to work to capture those who want to disrupt the security and stability of the region and create an environment of chaos. Following the intelligence, investigation work and follow-up work carried out by our Internal Security Forces, an operation was carried out against a cell structure consisting of mercenaries affiliated with the Syrian regime. As a result of a successful operation carried out by our HAT special teams, a mercenary was caught. Many items were also seized from the mercenary. A shoulder-fired missile, 8 military uniforms and one piece of military armor were seized."
