Journalist Ehmed and four civilians buried in Til Temir

ANHA correspondent Seed Ehmed and 5 civilians who lost their life during the bombing of the Turkish state against a convoy of civilians in Serêkaniyê on Sunday were buried at Til Temir (Hesekê) graveyard.

ANHA correspondent Seed Ehmed was buried in Til Temir Martyrs graveyard together with Yûsiv Ferhan (Rojdem), Mihemed Hesen (Debor Hesekê), Elî Esnan (Gelhat Hesekê), Ehmed Bedir (Demhat Hesekê).

The five were among the 11 victims of the Turkish attack targeting a civilians convoy in Serêkaniyê on Sunday.

Thousands of people attended the funeral ceremony which began with a minute silence in memory of the martyrs.

Speaking at the ceremony, PYD member Hesen Newaf Hac Elî expressed condolences to the families of martyrs.

Stating that the martyrs resisted for a free and dignified life on their territory, Newaf added: "Our martyrs resisted against Erdoğan and his mercenaries to live free in their territory. We are committed to protecting our land and dignity from the attacks of the fascists."

Mihamed Seîd Şêxmûs, father of ANHA correspondent Seed, spoke at the ceremony.

"I am not only the father of martyr Seed, I am the father of all martyrs. Our martyrs shed their blood to liberate us and our lands."

Şêxmûs said: "We are all one, we live together. We have to beware of those who try to put us one against the other. The invading Turkish army and its mercenaries are trying to change the demographic structure of our region. But our will to defend the northern and eastern Syrian territories is very strong."
