Martyr Mihemed İbrahim Al Ali laid to rest in Tabqa

Self-Defense Forces member, Martyr Mihemed İbrahim Al Ali, was laid to rest in Tabqa graveyard of martyrs.

Hundreds of residents, Civil Administration representatives, military councils, political parties, opinion leaders, Young Women's Union and Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement members attended the funeral of Self-Defense Forces fighter Mihemed Ibrahim Al Ali, who suffered a heart attack on 18 August.

Member of the Executive Board of the Martyrs’ Families Council, Foza al Mihemed, said: "Martyrdom has the most important meaning and value in humanity. It is a place of honour. We should all try to walk in the footsteps of the martyrs."

Foza al Mihemed continued: "This land has seen many martyrs and hundreds of young people are still ready to follow in their footsteps, protect their country and people, and fight for a free and dignified life."

Self-Defense Forces Commander Ebdullah al Xemisi talked about the historical epics of the martyrs and the sacrifices they made to secure freedom.

Huda Al Ewan, Co-Chair of the Democratic Civil Administration Legislative Assembly, demanded that the martyrs' path be followed until terrorism is eliminated, and added: "We will fight oppression and make sacrifices for it."

Ibtisam El Mihemed, a member of the Martyrs' Families Council, read the martyr's certificate of martyrdom and handed it over to the family.
