New medical supplies to People's Hospital in Shedade

The Cizre Region Health Board provided a large number of medical supplies to the People's Hospital in the Shedade district.

A number of medical equipment including 32 x-ray machines, baby incubators, urine testing equipment and many beds were given by the Cizre Region Health Board to the People's Hospital in the Şedade district.

Farûq Tuzo, co-chair of the Hesekê Canton Assembly, told ANHA that the equipment will benefit the people of the district and that more support should be given to the hospital.

Tuzo added: “These materials are important for diagnosis and treatment of large numbers of patients.”

The Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Health Board established the People's Hospital in the district in 2022. The hospital is the first established in the southern region of Hesekê, and serves more than 500 villages and 300,000 people in the north of Deir ez-Zor and the south of Hesekê.
