Palestinian resistance icon Leyla Khaled hospitalized

One of the symbols of the Palestinian freedom struggle, Leyla Khaled, has been hospitalized after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

News that Leyla Khaled, a member of the Central Committee of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, is in intensive care was announced by Vijay Prashad, a member of the Progressive International Council.

Leyla Khaled was born in 1944 and is one of the most well-known figures of the Palestinian cause.

She came to the world's attention with the plane hijackings she carried out in 1969 and 1970, and has been actively involved in the Palestinian struggle throughout her life.

She continues to work and give speeches on various platforms, representing the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
