As Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has accelerated his threats against North and East Syria, people of the region are increasingly giving a message of total resistance in the case of a possible attack.

Qamishlo resident Remzi Yûsif stated that the Turkish state intended to invade North and East Syria and break Syria into pieces.

According to Ali Salih, a resident of the Amude town of Qamishlo, Erdoğan has a dream of reviving the Ottoman Empire. He says; “If we are attacked, we will defend our lands alongside our military forces. All the peoples in the region should unite against the enemy.”

Kadir Hemden from Qereçox village of Derik city, pointed out that Turkish President Erdoğan aimed to create a unrest and crisis in the region.
