SDF Commander-In-Chief meets with a delegation from the Notables Council of North and East Syria

During a meeting with the Notables Council, Mazloum Abdi discussed the political and military developments in North-East Syria, as well as the service and administrative conditions in the region.

Mazloum Abdi, the Commander-in-Chief of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), met with a delegation from the Notables Council of North and Eastern Syria. Saleh Muslim, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, was also present at the meeting.

According to SDF Media Centre, Mazloum Abdi discussed with the delegation the political and military developments in the region. The focus was on Turkish occupation attacks on our regions, along with the ongoing Gaza war and its implications for Syria, especially in the northern and eastern regions.

Additionally, the Commander-in-Chief discussed the service and administrative conditions in the region with the visiting delegation. Special attention was given to the significant damage inflicted on infrastructure, including water, electricity, energy, and oil plants.

The Commander-in-Chief expressed deep appreciation for the Notables’ unwavering support and strong backing of our forces. He acknowledged that their positions, opinions, and proposals play a crucial role in bolstering strength and stability in our regions.

In response, the delegation members shared their perspectives on enhancing service and administrative conditions in north and eastern Syria. They emphasized the importance of preserving societal cohesion and standing united against any attempts to sow discord, chaos, or disrupt civil peace under any pretext.

The delegation also commended the Syrian Democratic Forces for their commendable efforts in combating terrorism, safeguarding the security and stability of our regions, and ensuring the protection of the people and their property.
