The Shehba Regional Diplomatic Relations Committee has set up a committee to organize local tribes after meetings with Kurdish and Arab tribes in the region.

The Diplomatic Relations Committee had already set up such a committee in the province of Til Rifet and has now begun working to set up similar committees in Kafar Naya, Kefer Nasih and Ehrezê districts.

Each committee consists of 7 to 10 members, including a spokesperson.

It has been established that the committee will meet every 15 days to discuss planning.

Mihemed Xidro, member of the Diplomatic Relations Committee of the Shehba Canton, said that the tribes in the region could play an important role in the social life once they are properly organised and have their work structured.

Mihemed Xidro also said that the tribes in Afrin should be gathered under one umbrella organisation to work jointly against the invading Turkish state and their mercenary allies.
