Social Services working hard for families in need in Kobanê
The Social Services and Solidarity Committee, which was established to identify the families in need in order to act and meet their demand, continues its activities.
The Social Services and Solidarity Bureau of the Euphrates Region is working in Kobanê and provides support to families it identified as in need.
The Committee, after receiving the petitions of the families in need, provides assistance to the families it deems to be needing urgent aid after its assessment.
There are 110 families in need in Kobanê. In addition to supporting families, the Committee also erases the water and electricity debts of some families.
‘Detection works in progress’
Moro Hesen, co-chair of Fırat Social Services and Solidarity Committee, told ANHA that there are various charity campaigns. Saying that families in need are identified, Moro said that efforts are under way to identify also families in need of health and other services.
