Thousands in Manbij protested the ongoing occupation attacks carried out by the Turkish state in Northern and Eastern Syria.
The people gathered at the junction of Sefîniyê carrying photographs of the martyrs of the Honor Resistance.
People chanted slogans such as 'Manbij youth will protect their land against the Ottoman occupation to the end' and 'Manbij people reject the occupation of the Turkish state'.
The march turned into a rally in the town square. After a minute, Mihemed Xêr Şêxo, co-chair of the Executive Council, made a speech on behalf of Raqqa Civil Council.
Mihemed stated that children and civilians were targeted by the Turkish state's occupation attacks and that banned weapons were used in Serêkaniyê.
Speaking on behalf of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, Social Services Committee co-chair, Faroq Mashi, emphasized the importance of unity of the Syrian people.
Mashi, who pointed out the importance of the resistance, said that the people sacrificed their lives for the Syrian soil.
On behalf of the Syrian Future Party, Azab Abud, the head of the Manbij organization, recalled that the Turkish state also targeted journalists in the invasion attacks.
Nadiya Milhim, a member of the Executive Committee of the Manbij Women's Assembly, said that civilians had fallen martyrs in the attacks of the Turkish state. "Hundreds of civilians lost their lives as a result of the attacks. Hundreds of thousands of people had to emigrate. The people will resist till the end."
