Sources from the region stated that three citizens were kidnapped in Afrin. The city in Northern and Eastern Syria has been occupied by Turkey and its affiliated paramilitary groups in 2018.

According to ANHA, the three citizens were kidnapped during a raid by paramilitary groups on the village of Dêr Siwanê in Shera.

It was reported that the kidnapped citizens are Horo Hesen Hiso (53), Elî Nebo Osman (24) and Xelîl Şêxo Kerez (45).
