Training cycle of Self-Defence Forces in Tabqa completed

The Defence Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has completed the training cycle in Tabqa with the participation of 224 fighters of the Self-Defence Forces.

A ceremony was held to mark the ending of the Martyr Ebdurehman al-Sofi training cycle at the Martyr Cemal Kerbanî Academy of the Self-Defence Forces in Mensûra city of Tabqa Canton. 224 fighters from all cantons of Northern and Eastern Syria participated in the training cycle.

Members of the Defence Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Internal Security Forces and families of martyrs were present at the graduation ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mihemed Elî, a member of the Self-Defence Forces Training Committee, greeted all the participants and said, "We congratulate all the fighters who completed the Martyr Ebdurehman al-Sofî training cycle. The fighters received political, military and intellectual training."

Elî addressed the fighters and said, "From now on, it is on your shoulders to defend the land and stand against every attack."

The fighters then took the oath and promised the martyrs to defend the land.

The ceremony ended with a military ceremony performed by the graduating fighters and traditional dance.
