Turkish fighter jets are flying near the Derik city of Rojava located at Turkey’s border with North and East Syria.

Earlier today, around 50 armored vehicles of the Turkish army have been deployed in Akçakale district of Urfa province bordering Rojava.

The military dispatchment came after the Turkish Presidency submitted a motion to the parliament to extend the state’s authority for cross-border military operations. The motion will be will be debated in the parliament tomorrow, Tuesday.
