24-year-old Gülcan Yeşilmen was seriously injured by a gunshot in the Central Ulucami borough of Midyad, in the province of Mardin. The young woman was taken to Midyat State Hospital after people called an ambulance but could not be saved despite all interventions.
It was claimed that Gülcan Yeşilmen was murdered by an accidentally fired gun. However, the prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the incident.
