Human rights activist turns herself in in response to the repression of Kurds

The renowned human rights activist and lawyer Margaret Owen has sent pictures of herself with fighters of the YPG and YPJ to the public prosecutor's office in protest against the repression of Kurds in Europe and has turned herself in.

Human rights activist and lawyer Margaret Owen sent pictures of herself with YPJ and YPG fighters to the British prosecutor's office and requested their arrest. Owen wrote on Twitter,

“I’ve just sent this, my favourite picture, to my attorney general. I should be arrested. We do Turkey’s dirty work here in the UK, charging Kurds under our Terror Act, refusing to delist the PKK, selling terrorist Erdogan arms.”

Margaret Owen is famous as a human rights activist, fighter for women's rights and member of the "Peace in Kurdistan" initiative.
