Ukrainian Karina Demchenko, who lived in Muratpaşa in Antalya, was murdered by her friend Erhan Razı.

The woman’s relatives raised the alarm as they could not hear from Demchenko. Police and medical teams went to her home and found the woman dead.

Demchenko was said to have died 10 days earlier. Police found the air conditioner set on cold.

After the investigation, it was revealed that Demchenko was murdered by his friend Erhan Razı. While the perpetrator, who was taken into custody, accepted the murder charge, he said that he had adjusted the air conditioner to cold so that the body would not smell.

After his statement, the man was transferred to the courthouse.

Demchenko's remains are still in the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute and will be delivered to her family who will come to Antalya.
