Two women allegedly commit suicide in Viranşehir
It has been claimed that there were two suicide attempts in Viranşehir recently. One of the two women involved died.
A woman died in suspicious circumstances in Viransehir and another who allegedly attempted suicide was seriously injured.
It was claimed that a young woman attempted suicide in Kışla, Viranşehir (Urfa). The woman, who allegedly jumped from the second floor of the house where she lived, was seriously injured. The incident happened at 22.30 on Thursday night.
The woman was taken to the hospital in a civilian vehicle before the medical team informed by neighbors arrived to the area.
In addition, it was claimed that on 2 December 24-year-old Berivan Başim, who lived in Akbulut District of Viranşehir, committed suicide with a firearm. It was stated that Başim, whose death is treated as suspicious, was under pressure as she was to be forcibly married.
