DEM Party Co-Chairs visit Diyarbakır Municipality

DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan paid a visit to Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality.

Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan were accompanied by MPs and party provincial executives during their visit to Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality on Sunday.

The delegation was welcomed by Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun and co-mayors of district municipalities.

Journalists also showed great interest in the visit. Bakırhan congratulated the people of the city on behalf of the municipalities and said, "We believe that our municipalities, especially our Metropolitan Municipality co-mayors, will provide a service worthy of the people."

Tülay Hatimoğulları said they had promised before the elections that they would serve the people: "We believe that the example of open, transparent and democratic municipalism that our people deserve will be practiced in Amed and our other municipalities."

DEM Party Co-Chairs also celebrated the championship of Amedspor during the visit. After the visit, which continued closed to the press, the co-chairs left the municipality.
