The Spring Festival organised by the municipality in the Paris suburb of Drancy hosted Kurdish culture, art and political activities.
Kurdish Culture and Kurdish Art were introduced at the Spring Festival attended by the Kurdish cultural movement TEV-ÇAND France.
In addition to cultural and artistic activities, the biography, books and ideas of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan were introduced within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, a Political Solution to the Kurdish Question" campaign, and information was given about the campaign.
The festival emphasised the importance of the campaign and underlined the need to expand it with various actions and activities in all fields, especially in the field of culture and arts.
In the past days, raids were carried out on the Drancy association and the houses of Kurdish patriots and 8 activists were detained. The Kurdish activists were released under judicial control on Saturday 27 April.
Kurds reacted to the criminalisation policies at the festival and gave the message "we are here".
The festival ended with the presentation of Kurdish local clothes and music.
