The movie "Sur'da Devran", which stars Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Nazmi Kırık and Yüksel Ünal, was adapted into a screenplay from the book "Enemy on the Bridge" by Murat Türk, who was a political prisoner for 28 years and wrote many books during his time in prison.

The film, directed by Haşim Aydemir, is shaped by the "birding" culture in Amed's Sur district, also makes some references to the political memory of the period and presents the audience with a flavour of the political atmosphere shaped by life in the back streets of Sur in the 90s, when the resistance in Amed grew rapidly.

Focusing on daily life and intertwined with the political atmosphere of the period and some tragicomic events, the film also focuses on the cultural symbols of the period.

The film, in which humor, poverty, love and experiences in prisons are intertwined, was produced by Erdal Oyunlu, written by Sabahat Altıparmakoğlu, while the music was composed by Bajar.

The film introduces young actors born and raised in Amed, such as Mustafa Yalçın, Ahmet Baran Başboğa and Savaş Damla, as well as professional actors.
