Olan: The Green Left Party is the address of peace and democracy

Bitlis candidate Hüseyin Olan said that the Green Left Party is the address of peace and democracy, and called on the peoples of Turkey to support the party.

Green Left Party Bitlis (Bedlis) candidate Hüseyin Olan spoke to ANF about the Green Left Party’s very important position in the struggle for democracy and peace. “Now we need a change, a big transformation. There is a dirty structure that has collapsed in our country for 20 years. We are faced with an understanding that puts the Kurdish problem at a dead end with its war policies. When we enter the parliament, we will solve the Kurdish problem peacefully.”

Olan added: “Unless the Kurdish problem is solved, the problem of freedom, economy, femicide and democracy will not end. Our main goal will be to get rid of this anti-Kurdish alliance. We will bring justice to this country. We will build peace. We will establish a democratic republic together. The solution is never to be sought in war and security, but always in dialogue and negotiation. The priority here is a democratic constitution. We will build a democratic Republic on the basis of equal rights and free citizenship. It will be the transfer of powers from a monist understanding to local democracy. We will make arrangements that will enable the decision-making mechanisms of the people.”

We will fulfil our historical responsibility

Emphasizing that they will once again show the will of the people against the trustee regime, Olan continued: “They are imposing their own understanding and power by ignoring the will of the people. We will strengthen local governments by building a democratic Republic. We will strengthen the local by involving all our people and civil society. By condemning the male-dominated society, we will include women in all areas of life. We will create a free young democracy. We will fight for autonomous universities.”

Olan reiterated that “the Green Left Party will be the address of the solution in parliament. They won’t be able to do anything in the parliamentary system without the approval of the Green Left Party. We will make the judiciary independent again and work for the recovery of the economy. We will work for a peaceful policy both in the region and in the world. We will protect our environment. We will create a life respectful of the environment. We have a lot of work to do. We will fulfil our historical responsibility. We are entering the century of peace and freedom for the peoples of the Middle East and Turkey.”
