Several members of the FARC - People' Revolutionary Alternative Party have sent their birthday greetings to Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan. 

Senator Sandra Ramirez has sent a video message wishing Öcalan "happy birthday. For you who struggles for a just cause. Received our greetings, from Colombia. We wish you happy birthday. Follow on this right and just cause, which is the cause of our peoples."

FARC parlamentarian Marco Calacra also sent his greetings via a photo. The same did former guerrillas Olga Marin and Gabriel Angel (known as the FARC writer, who penned some memorable pages of the guerrilla's life). 

Sociologist and former political prisoner Liliany Obando also sent her greeting via a photo. Obando has been denouncing the terrible conditions of political prisoners in Colombian jails.
