UK academic Wall calls on government to stop arms sale to Turkey

Professor Wall underlines that more governments should put pressure on Turkey to make sure it complies with human rights international laws.

Pressures increase on the British government to stop selling arms to Turkey. Professor Derek Wall adds his voice demanding more efforts to push Turkey to comply with human rights international laws.

Dr. Derek Wall, author and lecturer at London Goldsmith University, is also a patron of Peace In Kurdistan Campaign.

In this interview with journalist Erem Kansoy Dr. Wall speaks about the importance of the release and freedom of Abdullah Ocalan and his central role in building a peace process for Turkey, North-East Syria and all regions of Kurdistan.

Professor Wall also reminds internationalist YPJ fighter Anna Campbell, who fell martyr when the Turkish state attacked Afrin. She died, said Wall, with arms made in Britain.

Professor Wall also speaks about the situation in Turkish prisons and send solidarity greetings to the HDP members in jail and to all political prisoners.
