Rojeva Medya and Özgürlükçü Demokrasi [Libertarian Democracy] newspaper distributors Engin Diker, Emrullah Kapar and Azad Kılıç had been detained yesterday in Van. The three were detained in the city center in the evening hours and were taken to the Security Directorate.
Hasan Duman, distributor for the same papers, was held in custody for 11 days and was formally arrested on January 1 on charges of “Disobeying stop warning”, “Possession of newspapers and subscriber lists considered to be terrorist organization-related”, “Possession of illegal materials on phone”.
