Dozens of ISIS suspects captured in Heseke

SDF, YPJ and the Internal Security Forces conducted a large-scale special operation on the outskirts of Heseke city this morning, capturing 38 ISIS cell suspects.

This morning, April 20, the special military operations units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), alongside the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and the Internal Security Forces conducted a large-scale special operation on the outskirts of Heseke (al-Hasakah) City.

According to the SDF Media Center, the operation resulted in the capturing of 38 ISIS cell suspects in addition to seizing a quantity of weapons and ammunition they possessed. 

According to initial information, the captured suspects were planning to carry out terrorist acts against the city’s residents.

The SDF stressed that their forces are committed to dismantling the remnants of ISIS terrorist cells and ensuring the safety and security of the region.
