JinNews journalist Derya Ren went to Adıyaman (Semsûr) to follow some news. The house she was staying in, together with another journalist from Pirha News Agency, Kamber Yıldız, was raided by gendarmes.

A few minutes after the gendarmerie raid, the house Ren and Yıldız were staying at was raided again by a different gendarmerie team. While the gendarmerie wanted to conduct another General Information Scan (GBS) on the journalists, they asked them where they had gone and what news they were following.

The Dicle Firat Journalists Association issued a statement saying: "We condemn the pressure on our colleagues. The aim of the raid and threats was to prevent our colleagues from reporting. We will not bow to this pressure and threats."
