The second hearing of the case opened against journalist Beritan Canözer was held in Diyarbakır 11th Assize Court.

Canözer is accused of "making propaganda for an illegal organisation" through social media. The journalist and her lawyer Resul Temur attended the hearing.

"At the time of this investigation, my social media accounts were not working," Canözer said.

The prosecution requested that Canözer be punished for allegedly 'making propaganda for an illegal organisation'.

The hearing was postponed to 25 March.
