Police take 4 journalists into custody, raid 2 production companies

Four journalists were taken into custody in house raids carried out by Turkish police. Reyhan Hacıoğlu were detained in Van, Ahmet Güneş, Necla Demir and Rahime Karvar in Istanbul.
Reyhan Hacıoğlu and her roommates were threatened by the police.
Hacıoğlu said: "Wherever we are, inside or outside, we will continue to write the truth. You cannot intimidate us with detention, threats and torture. The Free Media cannot be silenced."
As part of the same investigation, Martı Productions and Güncel Productions in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul were raided. Police had the doors of the companies opened by a locksmith without informing the owners, and seized all computers and hard drives.
