The Vigil for Justice of the Şenyaşar family in front of Urfa Courthouse was launched by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out on 14 June 2018 by AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguard and relatives. Her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the attack, has been carrying out the action together with his mother.

The family continued the vigil at their home in Suruç, as every weekend.

The Şenyaşar family shared the following message on their Twitter account on the 272nd day of the action:

"Governments without justice are corrupt. They will collapse at the slightest shock. If there is a government that protects the oppressor, it should be destroyed! If it does not collapse, it will be destroyed."
