Şenyaşar family continues their Vigil for Justice in Urfa

The Şenyaşar family, who continue their struggle for justice for their relatives who were murdered in Urfa, said: "Everyone is watching in silence."

Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre organized by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the Justice Vigil in front of the Urfa Courthouse.

On the 295th day of the vigil they began on 9 March, the family once again came to sit in front of Urfa Courthouse, 42 kilometres from their home in Suruç.

Today the family shared a message on their Twitter account, tagging the accounts of Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Turkish Workers Party (TİP) chair Erkan Baş, AKP Deputy Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba and Turkish Bar Association (TBB) President Erinç Sağkan. The message reads: “In front of hundreds of employees, a deputy from the AKP is committing a massacre in Suruç State Hospital. No one makes a sound, and the fire continues to burn where it fell. Everyone is watching in silence. Our justice vigil is on its 295th day.”
