Diyarbakir Governor's Office banned a press conference that the Lawyers Association for Freedom (ÖHD), wanted to hold in Bağlar Koşuyolu Park in front of the Human Rights Monument. The press conference was about rights violations. 

The Governor's Office, in response to the application of the ÖHD said: "(...) Actions and events in public spaces are banned from 27 December 2019 to 13 January 2020."

ÖHD executives announced that they would go to Koşuyolu Park Human Rights Monument despite the 'ban'.
