Journalist Pinar Ural from DIHA agency has been assaulted by unknown people yesterday. The journalist was coming back from Istanbul Technical University where she had been working on a story. She was on a public bus when she was assaulted by unknown people.

The assailants wanted the bus driver to open the door and made her to get off the bus. They shouted that she was a “traitor” and had to be punished. Journalist Ural reacted to the abuse and assault and this didn't go down well with the assailants who kept insulting her. It was noted, when finally the assailants left the bus, that the bus driver did not do anything to help Ural.
