Dozens of prisoners forcibly transferred to other prisons
Dozens of prisoners in Balıkesir and Muş provinces have been sent to prisons in Kayseri and İzmir.

The ‘Solidarity with Prisons Initiative’ announced that dozens of prisoners have been forcibly transferred to other prisons.
Accordingly, 37 prisoners in Balıkesir Kepsut L Type Closed Prison were transferred to Kayseri No:1 T Type Closed Prison and Şakran No:2 and No:3 T Type Prisons the day before.
29 of these prisoners were transferred to Kayseri and İlhami Çınar and Mehmet Kirli to Şakran No:2 T Type Prison, while Misbah Kaya, Osman Sakçı, Nazmi Tunç, Mehmet Bağırtan, Selamettin Yılmaz and Şehmuz Türeli were transferred to Şakran No:3 T Type Prison.
3 prisoners from Muş E Type Closed Prison were transferred to Ödemiş T Type Closed Prison.
Mehmet Fuat Erol, Nimet Robin Erdenci, Nihat Bingöl, Erhan Şenyuva, Mehmet Şirin Arslan and Harun Şimşek from Muş E Type Closed Prison were transferred to Şakran No:4 T Type Prison.
Mehmet Nuri Yıldırım, Şerif Savaş, Agit Gezici and Mehmet Akçor were transferred to Şakran No:1 T Type Prison.
The forcibly transferred prisoners were subjected to strip search on their arrival in other prisons and their letters were arbitrarily confiscated.
