Families of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the 3 other prisoners in Imrali appealed to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to visit their relatives.
Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s brother Mehmet Öcalan, sister Fatma Öcalan and tutelar Mazlum Dinc appealed to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office through their lawyers.
Prisoner Hamili Yildirim’s brother Polat Yildirim, Omer Hayri Konar’s brother Ali Konar and Veysel Aktas’ sister Sabiha Aslan also appealed for a visit.
770TH APPEAL REJECTED
Meanwhile, the appeal by Öcalan’s lawyers Cengiz Cicek, Faik Ozgur Erol and Abdulmecit Yildirim submitted yesterday to visit their client was rejected on grounds of “restrictions imposed on convicts under Law No. 5275 on the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures”.
Since July 27, 2011 the lawyers have appealed to visit Öcalan for 770 times, which have all been rejected on various excuses.
