Family of guerrilla Sozdar Aslan recovers her remains after 17 months
The Turkish state delivered the body of HPG guerrilla Sozdar Aslan, who fell a martyr in the Van countryside, to her family after 17 months.
Guerrilla Sozdar Aslan fell a martyr in the countryside of Çatak district of Van in October 2019.
Her remains were buried in the nameless area of Van Cemetery, and were eventually delivered to her family after 17 months as the DNA results matched the family sample.
Aslan's family took her remains and set out to bury her in her hometown, Siirt.
