Political prisoners held in the F Type Kürkçüler Prison in the southern province of Adana have started a five-day hunger strike demanding an end to Kurdish People’s Leader Öcalan’s isolation and rights violations in prisons.

Relatives of the prisoners announced that the hunger strike has started today and is meant to last for five days.

The political prisoners stated that their hunger strike will continue if their demands are not met.
