The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Istanbul Youth Assembly protested the killing of children by police and soldiers with a ‘poster action’ in the neighbourhood of Okmeydan. Child deaths were highlighted in the poster, which includes the photograph of 5-year-old Erdem Aşkan killed by a vehicle driven by a specialist sergeant in Yüksekova. Also on the posters were the photographs of Berkin Elvan, Ceylan Önkol and many murdered children.

The posters vow to bring those responsible for the killings to justice.
