According to Media Institute of Western Kurdistan Society, Syrian authorities informed the family of Kurdish conscript Orhan Mohammed Naji Hussein that the body of their son Orhan was lying in the government hospital in Deir al-Zor. The family live in Qamishli, and they received his body on Sunday 19 June 2011.
The family was told that Orhan received one shot in his head, whereas the Syrian authorities informed his family that their son was shot during his security duties and that he remained alive for one hour in the hospital.
Hundreds took part in demonstrations, denounced the murder of Kurdish soldiers in the Syrian army and demanded disclosure of the real story about the murder of the conscript Orhan because they are skeptical of the story given.
Orhan Mohammed Naji Hussein was born in 1992. He joined the Syrian army four months ago and was serving in the Brigade 14, Regiment 36 in Sheikh Mountain, Damascus
