Turan Çabuk, a seriously ill prisoner who suffered a brain haemorrhage, has been fighting for his life in the intensive care unit for 12 days.
Turan Çabuk (58) is in Metris No. 2 T Type Closed Prison and has cancer. He suffered a cerebral haemorrhage on 11 January and was taken to Çapa Medical Faculty Hospital in Fatih. Çabuk is fighting for his life and can only move his eyelids. He has been kept in the intensive care unit for 12 days in the Neurology Intensive Care Unit.
Çabuk's condition is said to be stable and his doctors informed his family that Çabuk would stay in the hospital for two more weeks at least.
