Kurdish teacher trasnferred to notorious Evin prison

English Language teacher Muxtar Esedi, who was detained and arrested in Kerec city of Iran, was transferred to Evin Jail that became sadly notorious for torture.

Iran Teachers’ Union member and human rights defender Muxtar Esedi was detained in the raid of Iran state powers on his house on 28 June and sent to Evin Cezaevi 209 number part on 6 July. Political prisoners are generally kept in 209 number part and exposed to heavy tortures there.

Three people under Iran regime carried out a raid on Esed,’s house, cluttered up his household goods and confiscated his computer and many goods. There is no information available on the accusation moved against the teacher.
