KCDK-E has called for participation to the marches to be held in Europe, Canada Australia, Japan and various other centers for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
European Kurdish Democratic Society Congress (KCDK-E) Co-presidential Council has announced the calendar for the marches to be held for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
KCDK-E issued a written statement and said, “Lifting the isolation imposed upon Leader Apo, ensuring his freedom and increasing the struggle is a duty to be a patriot, democrat and revolutionary.”
“ISOLATION AGAINST PEOPLES AND PROGRESSIVE HUMANITY”
KCDK-E stated that there is an unprecedented isolation imposed upon Öcalan: “The isolation imposed upon the leader of the Kurdish people in the torture and isolation island of Imrali has reached a level unprecedented in the world.”
The statement continued: “There is no information on Leader Apo. The ECHR, CPT and other institutions just watch and do nothing. The isolation imposed upon Leader Apo is an isolation imposed upon the peoples of Kurdistan. This isolation imposed by Turkey and hegemonic powers is a genocidal policy against the Kurdish people.
Leader Apo is not just the leader of the Kurdish people, he is the hope and leader of the peoples of the world with his ideas. Many peoples, faiths and women’s movements in the Middle East consider Leader Apo to be their leader. He is the national leader in all parts of Kurdistan. The isolation imposed upon Leader Apo is imposed upon all peoples and progressive humanity who demand freedom and democracy in the person of Leader Apo.”
“OUR STRUGGLE WILL FREE HIM”
KCDK-E stressed that Öcalan will be freed through the struggle of Kurdish people, peoples, progressives and intellectuals who believe in his ideas, and called for mass participation in the marches to be held in Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and in various centers.
