Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er on death fast

Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who are imprisoned in Hewlêr, said that they have been on a death fast for 8 days against the violations of their rights.

Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who were sentenced to death by the first-instance court for the murder of MIT member Osman Köse in Turkey's Hewlêr Consulate General in the Federated Kurdistan Region on 17 July 2019, have been on a death fast for 8 days.

In a phone call with their families today, Dağ and Er said that they went on a death fast on 13 February, against the violations of rights they experienced in the prison and the unanswered demands for a prison change.

Dağ and Er said that the security officials they met against the violations of rights told them that they were not doing anything because "you killed the diplomat."

The families called on the public for awareness, stating that the health conditions of Dağ and Er deteriorated. They lost 10 kilos in the past 8 days, and they started to vomit blood.
