Eylem Oyunlu (27) was called to give a statement within the scope of an investigation launched by the Lice Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Once she gave the statement she was arrested. She had gone to testify with her 10-day-old baby and 2-year-old daughter.

Lice Chief Public Prosecutor's Office was questioning Oyunlu for allegedly “helping an illegal organization”. After the statement Oyunlu was sent to Lice Magistrates' Criminal Court with an arrest order.

She was then sent to the Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison with her 10-day-old baby and a 2-year-old daughter.

Dilber, the mother of Eylem Oyunlu, who was detained after the military operation launched on April 14 in Amed Lice, was remanded in custody together with her brothers Tuba and Harun Oyunlu on 20 April with the accusation of "being a member of an illegal organization" and "helping an illegal organization".
