Kadir Kaya, who is detained in Silivri No 5 L Type Closed Prison, talked about the violation of rights in the prison in a weekly phone call with his family. Kaya told that many inmates who have coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms have not been tested so far.

Kaya said, “Most of the prisoners in the ward have cough, fever and headache, which are symptoms of the coronavirus. We informed the prison administration, yet no measures were introduced.”

 The prison officials told us to "talk to the prosecutor to get information", Kaya added.
