The Justice Vigil launched by the families of prisoners in the premises of Amed Bar Association service building, is on its 47th day. On the last day of the year, many people visited the vigil. The families are demanding the release of ill prisoners on the occasion of the New Year.
Melike Alp (63), one of the visitors, said that isolation in Imralı has started to be implemented in prisons as well, and added: "We must support the actions of the Justice Vigil."
Sharing the New Year's message at the Justice Vigil, the father of ill prisoner Civan Boltan, Hakkı Boltan, said that they have been holding the vigil for about 2 months. Boltan said: “The seriously ill and the prisoners who have completed their sentences should be released as soon as possible. Justice will help solve the existing political and economic crisis and prosperity will come to the whole country. We hope that 2022 will bring us freedom and peace.”
